i said he was buried 11th july 1902 i got it from the book you mention, the entry said -john thomas cain age 36 asylum braddan and then it gave grave no, i asked and they searched in musuem libary and they say theres no headstone and they are the one also that cant find death cert, hes not mentioned in the asylum records but there was a john cain that was in there from l1901 to 1913 but john william , regarding the other matter i was told to log on to www.dmm.org.uk and theres a list of isle of man mines and there he is it was called douglas head fidler green douglas it stopped in 1902 please have a look im so sorry if im being a pain but im not educated enough for to look for the things i want
