It seems to be more the vagaries of spelling.
The previous page has Erin crossed out followed by Iron.

The district description has Iron which is probably why it was changed.

The enumerator was William Collister a manxman.

By the way, it is helpful when quoting 1851 references to give the folio number. There are about 10 different schedules numbered 114 in the 2526 piece.
