I could not find any Edward Corner in the 1851 census.

However there Teresa's will is in Brian's index:
1845 Castletown A17 on film 0106251.

Per the IGI Teresa appears to be Teresa Byrne and she married Edmond in St. Cutbert's Edinburgh on August 14 1828.
Why was Teresa on the isle? presumably a brother or sister.
The only Brynes in the IOM 1851 census were Manx or Irish born.
