Frank Leonard Hulme (m IOM abt 1900)

I have a Hulme family that migrated to the Isle of Man about 1900. Frank Leonard Hulme migrated from Manchester so he could marry his deceased wifes's sister Maud Field (apperently known as Daisy, her sister being known as Lilly). I have details about Frank's first child to his first wife, Dorothy Maud Hulme. I know he had a son Walter Reginald Hulme born on the Isle of Man 25/01/1904. He may have been called Reg(inald) by family and friends.
Walter married a Manx widow who was 10 years his senior and had about 5 daughters to her previous marriage. I think her name was Gertrude, but I'm not sure and I don't know her maiden name or previous marriage name. There was a Gertrude Hulme and a Martha (?) pictured in his wedding photo - I don't know the year of marriage, it would have been after WWI
Where would I begin, to find Walter's marriage in the indexes, and find out more about his wife and step children?
I have found some references to a F. L. Hulme in the manx notebooks. In the IOM examiner listed under "Corporation of Douglas. Town and Village Commissioners. LAXEY. is a F.L. Hulme.
I do believe Frank Leonard Hulme was a policeman of sorts and he did live in Laxey. Are there any other lists or places I can start looking for more information about his place of abode and career?
