David - I just found tonight where my Christian line came from - I have everything back to Thomas Christian, Sr., who immigrated to VA probably just prior to 1649. I have a fair amount of information on his descendents, but nothing much prior to USA. One source mentions Eman Mac Cristen - who may have been Deputy Governor of Peel Castle. It also indicates that the Mac Cristens came to Isle of Man c. 1408 from Scandinavia. I would love to know if you have found anything earlier than 1649. Any information I have will be eagerly shared.
