My great great grandfather was Charles Kermode baptised in Ramsey in 1800. His parents were William Kermode and Mary Kewley. I am trying to discover which William this is. Charles got married in Liverpool in 1825. At that time there are two William Kermodes in Liverpool, occupations provision dealer and painter,plumber ,glazier. The most likely scenario is that one of these is our William and he came to Liverpool when Charles was young. It is possible that the other William in Liverpool is Charles older brother.
