Everton, Lancashire, England, in 1865. Immigrated to USA, 1877, per 1900 US Census, St. Louis, MO. Resided on Payne Avenue in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA. Moved to St. Louis, MO. Married at age 21 to Henry C. Giesler in St. Louis in 1886. Two daughters, Augusta Giesler and Theresa Giesler, were born in St. Louis, MO. Clara Kermode Giesler died in 1908, listed in St. Louis Post Obituaries. Additional known siblings include: Martha "Mattie" Kermode Catherin, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Kermode Kuring, Emeline (Emily) Mildred "Millie" Kermode Killian, Annie Kermode Painter, and Daisey/Daisy Josephine "Josie" Kermode Eberle. Although, Daniel was a carpenter, Charles Kuring who was Lizzie Kermode's grandson, stated that his family from IOM were in the confectionery business.
