My Isle of Man connection:
My family married into descendants of the BREW family in 1907 when Martin Stanton married Emma Jane Mills (my great grandparents).
Emma Jane was the daughter of Annie Brew b 1860 to Thomas Brew and Ann Wilson. It appears Ann Wilson died at child birth and was buried 8 days after Annie's birth. Thomas re-married in the same year to Christian Clague.
