I was a founder member of the IOMFHS in 1978/9, and fulfilled various offices in the Society. I have my own web-site which I don't maintain properly at present. Manxroots, intended to be a help for anyone studying Manx familly history. At the moment I am in my last year of Registration for a Master's Degree researching the origins of the Manx countryside, i.e. the farms, villages, family and place-names, boundaries.
