Mabel Shimmin was my mother. Her grandfather Robert Shimmin left the IoM around 1865 to come to Australia. He was born and baptised in Patrick 5 Jul 1842. He grew up on Cronk Dhoo farm. Other IoM relatives include Kelly, Doran, Kennaugh, Corris and Casshin. Genetically related to Creer on 23andme.
