Matthew Blood was originally from co Clare IRL. The only info we have is: "St. George's, Douglas, Isle of Man - Sacred to the memory of Matthew Blood-Smyth, Esq., of County Clare, who departed this life 20th August, 1820, aged 47 years, also his daughter Susanna Blood-Smyth, died 28 Nov., aged 21 years."
Is it possible that a headstone survives??? I don't know where the snippet came from....
