Great great grandson of Samuel Webb, Mayor of Douglas and the owner of Webb's Lounge, Strand Street, Douglas. My great grandfather, Robert, the Mayor's eldest son, died there whilst at work one day. His son Samuel, my grandfather, married the daughter of a visitor, Robert Buckley, who rolled backwards off Douglas sea wall and killed himself!
