I have been researching my family history and managed to trace the majority of my great-great-grandparents but came up against a brick wall with one of my great-grandmothers.

I knew from census records that she was born in 1845, Castletown, IOM but only had her married name as Martha Pugh (from her first marriage).

Recently I managed to identify that her maiden name was in fact Martha Clucas and that at least two further generations of her family appear to have lived on Man.

I am now trying to discover more about my family's routes on the island.
