Great-Great Grandfather:
John Henry Clarke, born 1868 on the Isle of Man, died 1911 in Toulon, Stark county, Illinois.
Obit from the Stark County News, 6 Sep 1911

John Henry Clarke was born on the 5th of March, 1868, at St. Marks, Isle of Man, England. He was married to Louisa Dunstone on November 5, 1886, at Douglas, Isle of Man. He followed the occupation of farmer in his native country until April, 1910, when he came to America. The family first settled in LaFayette, but remained there only a short time, moving to Toulon in June, 1910. Mr. Clarke was a man who was very highly respected by those who knew him, both in the old country and also in his adopted country.
He leaves a wife and four sons, John, James, Thomas and Joseph. An aged father and mother are still alive in the Isle of Man. Two brothers are also left - James Clarke in New York, and Thomas Clarke in the old country. There are also two sisters, Edith and Margaret, who are in London, England.

(John and Margaret Louisa actually married on the 5th of November 1889 in Braddan)

John's parents names were John and Catharine, last known address in 1911, 40 Peel Road.

Last known address for his brother Thomas in 1901, 13 Derby Road.

Would love to hear from anyone who might have ties to this family.
