I have been reasearching The Gelling's from Malew @ Ballasalla for some time.
I'm the Granddaughter of Walter Gelling born Malew 1884, @ G/Granddaughter of George Gelling a Joiner who worked in Ballasalla, George had a large family, and I would like to hear from anyone else who's family connect with mine, also my Grandmother Aunt Sarah Brookes from Liverpool marr a Seaman 1st name unknown surname Christian said to be a Captain, they had a daughter Sarah who kept a boading house in Douglas around 1930 looking for family connections.
