second thoughts now I've had my morning coffee - you have my cd on which is a 1868 O/S plan of Douglas - On this you can find the junction of Hanover St (running E-W and Heywood Place running NW-SE just above the area marked Cattle Market - this plan predates the slum clearance to create Lord St and Peel Rd - the area marked Cattle Markey is now occupied by the MUA (Manx Utilities) that run the Island Electricity and was the site of the 1st power station but now used to terminate the electric interconnector between England and the Island -Peel Rd - the street noted as running from Prospect Hill is Ridgeway St one of the many newly created streets after the slum clearance of the late 1870s/80s - you should be able to find this on google earth
