Amongst the personal effects of a recently deceased member of the Qld Manx Society is a copy of a Jurby Marriage Certificate where John Corkill married Mary Brew on 5 Nov 1842.
The mystery is that it does not appear to relate to this member so why would she have it in her possession.
Does anyone know of this family and its possible connection to Queensland?
