St George's church is in Douglas easy walk from the sea terminal or the Railway Station - it is in the parish of Braddan (as are other Douglas churches) but Braddan Church (Old + New) are a little outside Douglas on the No5 + 6 bus routes.

The Ivanhoe was part of the Metropole Mansions in Queens Prom (the bit furthest away from the sea terminal so a good walk or catch the horse tram - however the original buildings which were indeed used in WW2 as internment camp have been replaced by a new block of apartments

in the 1930 edition of IoM Pleasure Island published by LMS railway there is an advert naming P Williams
(ask re it at library in Manx Museum)
