Pierrette Christian/John James Christian

Pierrette Christian b. 1797, d. 1899, of France, was married to John James Christian, b. 30 Jun 1794, d. 28 Nov 1852. He was brother to John Christian, Captain of the Royal Manx Fencibles, and uncle to Robert Oates Christian. I found a wonderful article titled “Important Judgment” in the Isle of Man Times, on December 8, 1900, which names Christian family members, including Pierrette, wife of John James, the first mention of her for me. I don’t know if Pierrette is a first name or surname; I had assumed the first, but am not sure. Other than a land deed to Pierrette, found on the imuseum/deeds site, I can find no other information on Pierrette or her husband, John James Christian. I had hired a research genealogist in France to investigate the life of Robert Oates Christian’s life in France, i.e., when he arrived and when he returned to the Isle, about 20 years. He provided a wealth of information. Other than enlisting the help of this genealogist again, I would like to know if you can find any information, or direct me to other sources, about either Pierrette or her husband, John James Christian.
