Hello, my great, great grandfather was supposedly from the Isle of Man. His parents perished on the journey to the United States, he had a sister but was separated from her. All we know is his name was William Piper (middle name possibly George?), born possibly 4 March 1822, Isle of Man or Dumfries?
Died in the United States, Helix, Oregon 21 March 1917. Married Cornelia Frances Myers.
