An IOM marriage in 1834 is unlikely to give you the information you are looking for, unless she was underage (under 21), and her father or other relative was named as having given permission for the marriage.

In the 1851 census they were in Toxteth Park, Lancs, at 19 Bk Parliament St. They are all listed as born Isle of Man, but the parish was not given (you might find this in another census). William Cottier Head Mar, 35, Joiner (House), with wife Ann 36? The "6" has a break at the bottom. Children Jane 11, William 9, Ann 5.

If those ages are correct in 1851 it looks as though they were both underage at marriage, so it could be worthwhile looking at the marriage entry. Sorry, I don't have any Marown records, but someone may look for you in the MM Library.

In the 1861 census they are still in Toxteth Park, 25 Bk Parliament St. William Cottier 45, joiner, b.Isle of Man, Douglas, with wife Anne 49, Housekeeper, and daur Anne unm, 17, both also b.Isle of Man Douglas.

The couple in those Toxteth Park censuses were the “wrong couple” (ie not Wm Cottier and Ann Kennaugh) --- they were William Cottier and Ann Christian. This William Cottier’s marriage details were mistranscribed as Qullur on familysearch (the entry with viewable image):

Name: William Qullur • Edit
Event Type: Marriage
Event Date: 14 Jun 1838 • Edit
Event Place: Braddan, Isle of Man • Edit
Male
Marital Status: Single
Spouse's Name: Ann Christian • Edit
Female
Spouse's Marital Status: Single

image shows Cottier (from signatures)

Children in those 1851/61 censuses:

Wm bap 8 Aug 1841 Ramsey (Wm Cottier and Ann Christian)
Anne bap 24 May 1845 St Barnabas, Douglas (Wm Cottier, joiner, and Anne Christian)

So where were your William Cottier and Ann Kennaugh’s family in the censuses ? Until Cath Carolina’s marriage in Wallasey in 1866, the only credible entry I can see is Cath Carolina in 1861 as a servant. If William and/or Ann and/or the other 2 children had died before 1841, they’d be very difficult to identify.
