Re: Radcliffe Corlett Ancestry Lezayre & Andreas

After some extensive cross-examination of some of my closest DNA-connected trees, I have actually discovered that I do indeed have some very close connections to the Castletown/ Malew area! There are quite a few trees with Kneales from that area. Other names that seem to run common in those trees are Corrin, Shimmin, Gill/Gell, Kelly, Garrett. I have found a few Radcliffes scattered about as well. My closest Radcliffe DNA-connected tree has a Bessie Radcliffe in Malew born in 1885 to John Radcliffe and Elizabeth Blackburn. Another tree has a Catherine Radcliffe married to a William Crellin in Malew in the late 1700s. A third tree has a Mary Ellen Radcliffe born in 1848 in Castletown to parents William Radcliffe and Margaret Kinvig. All of my other DNA connections are to Radcliffes in Andreas and Corletts in Lezayre. I don't have any DNA connections to Skelly though... If that James Radcliffe is my guy, maybe Skelly is not his real father? There is still the question of the birth date too. This search in the south definitely has me intrigued.
