Re: Isabella Quirk/Kelly

Thanks for replying. Yes a mason 1837 is the James Kelly. I found John Kelly bap to James & Isabella before the last daughter Catherine Louisa was bap in 1829. John then md Ann Mylrea in Malew but she was md with her father's name as Ann was the illigitimate dau of a Shimmin from Castletown. I also saw an Isabella Kelly with a Child called Sarah Quirk who I thought could have been a relation as Isabella had been Quirk. I tried researching this Sarah but the only one I could find was a twin which didn't tally. Surely if Isabella was still alive in the 1841 census one of her 5 chn should be with her. The daughters all moved to Manchester but Isabella seems to disappear. John was the only son.
