I have followed the Cottier name to Thomas Cottier, born to John Cottier and Catherine Callow around 1829. Thomas married Minerva and they had 5 children. I don't know if Thomas is the missing link in my heritage search. Would you be able to verify his birth in the IM, and his passage to Missouri, USA.
