if David's quote is correct then it could well be that Isaac was the minor not Elizabeth - Eliz was bapt 1812 assuming parents Daniel + Cath Tear (who married in 1802 + had several children at regular intervals) but if Isaac was born post 1812 then he would have been the minor requiring parental permission
