he could be the John MacGreggor in 1881 absent from home at Kinsale fishing at Whitestrand 3 Cottage Cottages - wife Mary and his children all born Scotland - check if on 1891 census at imuseum
If they married on Island then the groom's name should be readily recognisable in any newspaper report - again see imuseum
