I have uploaded 3 adjacent records from the 1911 copy of the Douglas St Barnabas register for 1836 - one is yours but not there is a distinction made between Quin and Quine - there are other Quins in Douglas at this period and St Barnabas being ultra lowchurch and anti catholic attracted many Irish - St Georges was the posher English church
