Hello, I'm looking for any information on Thomas Cowin from Onchan, b circa 1776 in Onchan, d circa 1848. I'm looking for information on who his spouse (my 4 x g grandmother) and parents were if anyone can help me locate this info, it would be most appreciated. As far as I know he had two children, my ancestor John Cowin, b 1799, presumably in Onchan, and who came to Canada apparently as a stowaway as a young man, and one daughter, Elizabeth, b c 1821, who married Robert James Archer of Onchan, 1823-1903. It seems like Cowin was a pretty large family (or families?) around the Onchan area, so it's a little tricky to decipher. Is anyone able to provide any further info on this?
