following up from Peter Redhead's coments re IoMFamHistSoc special issue then Ms Case states they emigrated on vessel Samuel Laurence from Liverpool to New Orleans arriving there on26 Mar 1853 - Wm + Eleanor were dead by Aug 1854 probably victims of a Yellow fever epidemic - their 5 children survived and Ms Case gives a brief history of each tho most about Wm junr.

She states that Eleanor Corlet was dau of Wm Corlet + Jane Quiggin - Jane was bur bur Michael 18451122 age 72 widow + living (along with dau Elinor) in 1841 with her bro-in-law ? Robt Quiggin

Wm Corlet left a will (Episcopal will 1813 book 2) dated 31 Jul 1813; residence Knock-ne-Fredjhag; not sure I have a correct burial date tho
