The dates we are over are: Friday 4 May (arriving late) and leave Monday 7 May (bank holiday).

My concern was that most places would be closed on the Saturday 5 May, but if I can go to the Library at the Manx Museum, like you mention - I would be happy!

I just read on their website about their opening times - which made me wander about the Saturday 5 May:

Open All Year Round*

Wednesday – Saturday 10 – 5

*Closed Mondays, Tuesdays, Bank Holidays, between Christmas and New Year and during the last week in January.
