Thanks Frances - found it just West of Port Moar on the survey map on your CD. Wikipedia said there was a quarry on the site and I had thought there might have been a connection with 'Brick" The translation clearly knocks that on the head.
Can you clarify what his occupation would have been - 'waggoner'?
