can't see any marr on Island (but you can check see www.imuseum.im) however might have your George if Manx ,as have George son of Thomas Cowley + Isabella Craine bapt 13 Apr 1773 - Thomas (noted as of smithy in one bapt and of Ballacry in sd deed) + wife gave a deed of settlement of various purchased lands in Ballaugh + Lezayre to their children at their decease - their eldest child + heir-at-law of non-purchased land was Wm - Thomas d 1807 but no will - can't find burial for Isabella but Cowley is a common name in Ballaugh
however George is unusual first name - there is an 1846 deed of a sale from G Cowley to Wm Cowley in Ballaugh passing thru court in 1846 but I haven't looked of this deed so might not be related but might fit transfer of George's part of land to his brother's son Wm who was farming Ballacry in 1841 (Wm d 1823 - there is a will but I don't have a copy)
