Hi, I'm the son of John Wallace Hewson. My grandfather was John Robert Hewson who lived in Douglas with his father Joseph and Mother Margaret (Crowe) in the late 1880's. I've looked at various census sheets and found pictures of their home in 6a New Bond Street, where they ran 'Hewsons Eating House' with Joseph and John working at Messrs Qualtrough and Son as ship carpenters. Does anyone have photos of them or of any member of the Hewson family they could share please ?
