I work at the Wheatsheaf Hall and for the past few months myself and another colleague have been researching W S Caine (1842-1903) and the history of this building.

W S Caine brought a villa Called Lemon Cottage which stood here before he built the Wheatsheaf hall and used it for his church services for the London Congregation Union.
