Charles Cannel married Ann Bridson in 1773 Malew ---- Charles of Rushen and Ann otp. Then after firstborn Eleanor’s 1775 baptism in Rushen, all the subsequent baptisms were in Malew.

Isn’t Charles a name which crops up frequently in your Collisters ?

And Frances’s 1820 will information for John Collister names a Charles Cannell of Malew as one of the pledges ---could this be John’s elderly father in law, if he were still alive ?
