Apologies I realize JCMH ,existing building, was only opened 1939 ? therefore my comment about garden does not apply. The first Home was in a terraced house in Demesne Road. There was an exhibition in Heritage Week some years ago organised by Dept. of Health who use the last building as Headquarters & now call it Crookall House .
The midwifery service is based at new Noble's Hospital. MM
