You wrote on this board on Tues 23rd Feb 2010 about Robert, Jemima and ELanor? under “Family Information Robert Clague” and received advice and information from others, some of which has been repeated and added to.
Previously on Fri. 07th April 2006 mention was also made about emigrants by a Christine Kay.
As I understand it both of which are basically correct as when Thomas Corlett (a labourer originally from Jurby and later a miner) took his Andreas born wife Ann Kneen along with their four youngest children to New Zealand in 1874 they left Jemima (born 1853-died aged 47) behind along with three older siblings (three others had died young)
Jemima’s first child was before the marriage to Robert (William?) Clague hence the Corlett.
As regards the Clagues, ( not my remit) there were still some at Agneash mid twentieth century.
