Ancestry DNA tests report ethnicity based on a reference panel of 26 regions of the globe. The Isle of Man is not one of these regions.

The Manx Y-DNA project indicates that about 75% of the male population of the Isle of Man in the period 1300-1500 is of Celtic origin and the remainder are descended from Viking or Norse-Gael invaders. Thus the Ancestry ethnicity report for Manx people is likely to show some combination of Irish, Great Britain and Scandinavian origins.

To learn more about your "deep ancestry" from DNA, you have to use a different type of DNA test (not available from Ancestry). For more information, search on-line for the Manx DNA project and contact the project administrator.
