John Corlett=Anne or Mary Anne Cottier.

Both residing in Marown

Both made a mark

Witnesses were Thos Christian and William Cottier

Vicar was William Duggan

(0549/2582) John CORLETT
He was the 26 year old labourer and bachelor son of Philip Corlett a labourer of Patrick. And Esther Cringal of German.
He (the son) became a Lead Miner
We find him in the 1841 census as Head at Ballanash? As follows:-
John CORLETT aged 25 and a Lead Miner
Anne CORLETT aged 20
Elizabeth CORLETT aged one year
All entered as born in I.O.M.

We find him in the 1851 census aged 37 Head at Intack Patrick a Lead Miner
With him is his wife Ann aged 34 born Marown and the following:-
Elizabeth CORLETT aged 10 or 11, daughter
Eliza CORLETT aged 7, daughter
Catharine CORLETT aged 5, daughter
John J. CORLETT aged 3, son
Edward T. CORLETT aged one year, son
All born in Patrick
Also with him are :-
Mary Skinner, House Servant aged 15, unmarried born in German
Thomas Kneale, Farm Servant,aged 25 unmarried, born Lezayre
