Hi Kevin,

As Frances said William Christian is a common Manx name. Looking at the census records, naturalization records, US Draft and immigration records are we talking about William Joseph Christian of Antioch, Lake County, Illinois who was a blacksmith?

If so then the records for this man lead back to him being William Joseph Christian son of Joseph Christian and Eleanor Kelly, he was born on 14th May 1887 in Peel, Isle of Man.

This man arrived in New York in March 1911 on the Franconia from Liverpool, England. The passenger list mentions his father Joseph Christian and gives an address for him, 12 Albert Street, Douglas, IOM. The IOM 1911 Census shows the family living at that address.
