Thomas Kneale does not appear on the list of IOM Immigrants to Australia , which was done in Victoria , but includes all parts of Australia. There are 12 Kneales on the list.

Victorian Immigration shows no TK's on Assisted lists (1839-1871) , but have :
1849 , aged 45 Thomas Neale
1853 , aged 23 Thomas Neales

Unassisted lists (1852-1923) has

1875 aged 51 Thomas Kneale
1911 aged 22 Thomas Kneale
and has five Thomas Neale's

1859 TK to Wilson Adan (?)

None to TK & JC , 7 births to TK & WA , and confirms Wilson Adan/Adam , first son John Alexander K.

Your Thomas of course could have come through New South Wales as Victoria part of NSW until 1851. Or he may have been born in Victoria or NSW . Tried to check NSW Immigration , which carry a wealth of information , but system down at the moment.
