I have been looking at the Malew Parish Register for 1749 and 1750 and there are two entries on a page with what appears to be "(Giles)" recorded beside two separate Bridson marriages. Can you tell me what this refers to, i.e., is it a place? I also see "(Nank)" for one entry which I am assuming refers to Ballanank?
