Thanks Frances. The Clague/Curran was a fishing expedition - your message makes good sense given the lack of specific records. In the 1911 Canadian Census his birthday is listed as Mar 1879 so that ties in well. Stories that I have heard is that he had a brother Tom who was a policeman and a sister Lily. But the "1879" Edward seems to move from place to place in the census records. Your thoughts?
