I'm starting to get a feel for the available information provided by IOM, and am able to navigate better into things than when we first corresponded. I looked into IOMFHS, and I guess it's snail-mail to send in the application. Meantime, I am awed by the amount of information that you have undertaken to make available online, and am extremely grateful to you all!
Reading Parish registers firsthand, it's not a task I would have happily taken up.
By the way, since I am such a novice at all the websites, including Brian Lawson's Will Index (thank you for the Morrison link!) I tried to find other family names, couldn't, so I Googled it.
