My paternal great grandfather, William James Corkhill married Esther Corris, somewhere in the early 1890s. Both came from Patrick Dalby way, according to my father, both went to Ballarat in Australia in the 1890s during the goldrush. They were back in IOM by early 1900s. Theyre middle daughter, Margaret Ann Corkhill, was my grandmother. I cant find her birth registered in IOM or Oz. Any ideas pls?
