Hi there, I found this on the Library and Archives Canada.

Sent by: Isle of Man Home for Orphan and Destitute Children.
Date of Admission: 12 December, 1888.
Notes: Born in Douglas, Isle of Man. Parents both dead. Spent 5 years 8 months in H.B. (hospital bed?), Nobles Hospital, Douglas. Further entry from Daily Journal Minutes 13 Dec 1888 Rec'd into the Home since last meeting, Ernest Kissack, aged 15, a telegraph boy. Recommended by Mr. Isdale. He is indicated as an emigrant for Canada. Dismissed from Home on 19 March, 1890. Emigrated to Canada, sailed from Glasgow "Allan Line". These details are a complete transcript of the information contained in the original records in the custody of the Manx Museum. Correspondence written to the Home by this child in Canada was published in the Home's annual reports, also held at the Manx Museum.
