can any one tell me on a passenger listings from liverpool to australia in 1923 this a a bit of a relpy i recieved , after asking about catherine cain born liverpool 1901 and what we think is my father mother, [ george cain being born isle of man dec1921 it was said that catherine gave birth to my father then went back to liverpool 3 sisters fell in love with a australian man who was a friend of their father or brother and he sailed home july 1923 and she followed him later then married in september 1923 What I find most interesting is Country of last permanent residence is not England but rather "British Possessions" Could this mean Isle of Man - It is a British Possession. If she had been living in Lancashire her country of last permanent residence would have been England
