Have read your news about Wm Kelly BA who married his sister Margaret Anne Kelly to Joseph Thomas in the Garrison Church, Castletown IoM in 1853. (St Mary's records)
Margaret and Joseph Thomas emigrated to Australia about 1854. but may have returned on the deaths of John Kelly the High Bailiff, then George and James, about 1855. I am trying to track more on William Kelly, her surviving brother after the 1854 smallpox outbreak in Castletown. Wm Kelly may have tried to contact Joseph, (whereabouts unknown) prior to 1873. Can you help?
