In the Name of God Amen.
The last Will and Testament of John.
Looney of the Parish of KK Maughold being.
Weak of Body but of a perfect and Sound.
disposing mind and Memory at the making.
this his last Will ( who wanted it on the May.
24th. And Committed it to writing, May 27th 1783).
in manner and form following Viz.
First And Principally he Committed his Soul.
unto God who gave it and his Body to the.
earth tobe Buried in a Christian like and.
deacent manner.
Item He left to his only Son John Fourty Shillings.
and two or three Sheep that he had in Talloo.
Mitchele. And if in Case that He his Son John.
die before he come to the Age of Fourteen years.
then and in that Case the aforesaid Leggacy.
is to devolve to his Executor hereafter mentioned.
Item He left and bequeathed [to] one Sixpence to each.
Claimer and Sixpence Each to the Witnesses of.
this his last Will.
Lastly He Nominated constituted and appointed.
his Loving Wife ^ Margaret ^ whole and Sole Executrix.
of all his Worldly Effects of whatever nature.
Soever. ~ ~ In Testimony hereof whe have.
Set our markes to our names this 29th. day of May.
