Now I've got doubts about my John Lowey who md Margaret Fargher. I have John 27 Jan 1731 died the next monthon Feb 5 th. Harry\Henry private baptism 2 Dec 1735 received into church Dec 7th. Anne 30 April 1738. Both Harry & Ann were confirmed Nov 1 st 1752. William private baptism by midwife 10 Jan 1733 named as Catherine but then received as William 14 Jan 1733, The midwife must have thought it was difficult to ascertain the gender! Then Elenor 12 April 1792.
Where is my John? There is a John Lowee s/o Henry Lowee & Margaret Bell chr 1937. I've been working on my John being baptised 27 Jan 1732, the same date but a year later than the baby John who died. All this info is on familysearch showing the original entries.
